It Seemed Good in Theory

...but MPD isn't so thrilled when actually presented with real live food to try. For weeks now, he's been slurping and grabbing at mealtimes, trying to join in. But we've tried baby oatmeal a couple of times, and he cries after a bite or two. He seems to like sweet potatoes a bit more--he swallowed three pinky-fulls yesterday.
He's getting used to it, but he's quite a bit different from all his siblings, who always loved their first solids and ate a whole bowl right away. Well, it's certainly fine with me if he takes his time. I'm in no hurry for him to grow up!
