The Body of Christ?

Listen to this Easter craft that the girls did at school last week. They molded a marshmallow in the general shape of a body, sprinkled some cinnamon and other spices on it, then wrapped it up in a crescent roll. This creation represented Christ's body, prepared for burial in the tomb. After it was baked, the teacher took it out of the oven, aka the empty tomb. Then they ate it.

Is it just me, or is that kinda weird?

(Naturally, the girls thought it was great--after all, what could be better than getting to eat a marshmallow and a crescent roll?)

More Easter Excitement

Guess what--MPD took his first few real steps today!! My Easter boy! Hooray for MPD!

Also, if you're wondering WHAT happened to JPD's face (yikes!), he lost a fight with the sidewalk following a major scooter wipeout on Thursday. Poor guy. He likes looking at himself in the mirror, though, and saying things like "My face is all beat up!" I am so thankful for no stitches or broken teeth on this one, because it was a SERIOUS face-plant.
