Listen to this Easter craft that the girls did at school last week. They molded a marshmallow in the general shape of a body, sprinkled some cinnamon and other spices on it, then wrapped it up in a crescent roll. This creation represented Christ's body, prepared for burial in the tomb. After it was baked, the teacher took it out of the oven, aka the empty tomb. Then they ate it.
Is it just me, or is that kinda weird?
(Naturally, the girls thought it was great--after all, what could be better than getting to eat a marshmallow and a crescent roll?)
Welcome Back...
to my little blog--our online photo album, schoolwork portfolio, and journal of my deepest wisdom and innermost secret thoughts. Or something like that.
