What's a trip to Texas without ridin' some horses?

 

 

All the kids got to ride, feed, and groom the horses, and the nice people who hosted our riding even run a chivalry-themed program for schools in the San Antonio area. 

What a perfect medieval history field trip, no?

 

We even got to pull King Arthur's sword out of the stone...

  

and meet Thor, currently the tallest horse in the world (no kidding!)!
